Sherlock Sonnet.
Title: Shakespearian Sherlockian Sonnet
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: PG (Mainly to be safe, there aren't even swears)
Word Count: 200
Summary: Written for Make Me A Monday on sherlockbbc. Someone wanted a Shakespearean sonnet.
Notes/Warnings: I did my best with iambic pentameter, but it's vair late.
Today a man threatened to burn you dear,
See my own heart at the end of a gun.
My own heart made me feel this thing called fear,
Never felt before; the damage is done.
Today I left my beloved by a pool,
See my own heart fall; crumbling as I go.
My own heart made me feel like any fool,
Hollow chest- I wonder if it will show.
Today I faced my foe an empty shell,
See my own heart no longer beats for me.
My own heart has feelings I cannot quell,
Flimsy, I blow away for all to see.
Today he threatened to burn my heart out,
And he did, for my head was full of doubt.

This really made my day a lot better.
The only bad thing is that I am now trying to find the literary tropes and figures of speech you used...
Really brillant ♥

I thought it captured some really great feelings. I "oooh'd" out loud so that's a win in my book! Brilliant job.
